FFRGOC Picnic- A Successful Family Fun Event

This picture says it all... as a very well attended fun event by FFRGOC members/officers and guests with the celebrant of the Holy Mass, Rev. Paul Vu, reinforcing our love for Jesus through Mary!

Due to Covid19, FFRGOC did not have the usual yearly family picnic where the young and not too old generations meet and enjoy each other's company and exchange what is happening in each other's lives... sad or happy and how they cope up with everyday challenges especially with always the threat of Covid19. So we did it finally at Laguna Niguel Regional Park, CA last July 10, 2022 and requested everyone to use their Hawaian tropical outfits. This event is a no cost event for FFRGOC and everything was funded with donations in kind and monetary values from members, guests , Board of Directors/Officers - Chapters and Areas and members. Thanks to all!

But of course, our successful events always require lots of planning, coordination and leaderhip and team efforts motivated and doing everything without selfish motives but for the greater glory of Jesus through our devotion to his mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. If health issues come up, we resort to our back up power through our friendships and proper planning and the leaders, Fely and Wally Claudio, Second VP and Director of Charity husband and wife team, who hammered the devil of the details with the great motivator, contributor and always action-oriented President Helen Alonso behind all and ready to support. But all of the Board of Directors/Chapter Directors/Areas and members worked also behind the scenes or put in front of you all. Even the husband and wife team of Glenn Puzon, First VP and Mary Ann Puzon, Director, Social Activities despite their absence due to health issues like me supported the event as much as they can!

Our President Helen Alonso gave a welcome speech to everyone to start the event that was rich with entertainment and food with drinks but not loaded ones.

What a great event and attendees had fun being outdoor and enjoying their friends and families on this FFRGOC event after being cooped up during COVID19 times.

I am jealous I was not able to be there but did not take the risk of being exposed to elements...wind and sun!
